Pourquoi La Parole Antispéciste ?
La Parole Antispéciste est un blog, sorte de petite revue antispéciste en ligne, qui publie des articles, des recensions, des analyses, des commentaires, des contributions personnelles relatifs à la promotion du véganisme et de l’antispécisme.
Cet espace est administré par un Comité de (re)lecture composé de 7 personnes. Il rassemble des auteurices qui nous adressent leurs publications spontanées et qui intègrent ainsi notre Comité de rédaction.
La création de ce blog est une initiative de l’ASBL La Ligue internationale Antispéciste dont le siège social est sis à Bruxelles.
Nos ambitions ?
« La révolte est le fait de l’homme informé » disait Albert Camus. Il se fait justement que depuis près de dix ans précédant la création de la L.I.A, ses fondateurs, administrateurs et membres ont épluché une partie non négligeable de la littérature scientifique, politique, économique, historique et philosophique traitant du véganisme et de l’antispécisme. Ils ont également parcouru blogs et revues et vu les principaux documentaires.
Aujourd’hui, forts de ces préalables, ils souhaitent participer à la diffusion d’un savoir commun et à un partage d’idées qui pourraient nourrir les réflexions et les stratégies de toustes.
Ce blog sera aussi, nous l’espérons, une belle opportunité pour la LIA d’élargir son cercle de relations et de considération à celleux que le débat d’idées passionne et qui y voient une occasion incontournable de nourrir la praxis en amont.
Notre initiative est également le fruit d’un constat objectif. En matière de lutte contre le spécisme et de promotion du véganisme, la philosophie, l’anthropologie et la science occupent des places prépondérantes dans l’ensemble des publications (revues, livres, blog). De manière étonnante, le droit y est quasiment absent hormis dans quelques revues universitaires spécialisées et destinées aux étudiant-es en DU animalier. C’est sans doute oublier un peu trop vite que l’idéologie spéciste résulte d’un choix dogmatique des législateurs. C’est au nom de la loi que les autres animaux sont assimilés au régime juridique des biens meubles par le biais d’une fiction et qu’iels sont exploités jusqu’à leur mort.
De même, peu de publications relèvent d’une dimension purement politique ou ont trait à l’activisme et à son panel de débats stratégiques. C’est pour combler ce vide que La Parole Antispéciste donnera la part belle aux publications soulignant les dimensions légales, politiques et stratégiques que soulève l’émergence de l’antispécisme politique dans notre société.
Ainsi, ce nouveau média s’orientera résolument et volontairement dans une approche intersectionnelle et politique. Nous travaillons à la convergence / cohérence des luttes de libération sociale dans un objectif politique déclaré. Le rapprochement des acteur-ices du changement social est indispensable. Nous sommes convaincus que les mécanismes structurels de domination et d’appropriation sont communs à nombres d’oppression systémiques.
Ce blog accordera donc une attention particulière à analyser et mettre en évidence ces mécanismes systémiques communs qui unissent toutes les oppressions afin de favoriser une cohérence intrinsèque de chaque mouvement et une solidarité politique commune.
Ce blog se veut également un espace de partage accessible à des auteurices connu.es et inconnu.es qui trouveraient ici un espace différent pour participer et contribuer par leurs publications à l’analyse critique de l’idéologie spéciste.
Toustes peuvent publier sur notre blog à condition bien entendu de soumettre à notre Comité d’édition un article de qualité, sourcé, original, passionné et pertinent, via l’adresse : contact@la-parole-antispeciste.com. Le Comité n’avalisera sans doute pas toutes les propositions mais l’idée est qu’il vous accompagne dans votre projet par ses conseils et remarques éventuels, tout ceci dans un esprit de bienveillance et de qualité réciproques. Les contributions seront publiées dans leur langue d’origine (que ce soit en FR, en NL ou en EN).
Enfin, ce nouvel outil de partage des connaissances souhaite contribuer à améliorer la visibilité et la crédibilité médiatique et critique du mouvement antispéciste dans un objectif politique parfaitement assumé dès le départ.
Nous nous sommes engagés à produire des articles de qualité dans un double but : contribuer à l’abolition de l’exploitation animale et faire de l’animal non-humain une personne juridique non humaine dotée de droits essentiels inaliénables.

Why « La Parole Antispéciste »?
La Parole Antispéciste is a blog – a small online anti-speciesist journal – which publishes articles, reviews, analyses, commentaries and personal contributions relating to the promotion of veganism and anti-speciesism.
This platform is managed by an Editorial Board comprising seven people. It brings together authors who submit their work to us of their own accord and who thus become part of our Editorial Board.
The creation of this blog is an initiative of the non-profit organisation Ligue internationale Antispéciste, whose registered office is in Brussels.
Our ambitions?
“Revolt is the act of the informed man,” said Albert Camus. It so happens that for nearly ten years prior to the creation of the L.I.A., its founders, administrators and members have pored over a significant body of scientific, political, economic, historical and philosophical literature dealing with veganism and anti-speciesism. They have also scoured blogs and journals and watched the leading documentaries. Today, building on this foundation, they wish to contribute to the dissemination of shared knowledge and the exchange of ideas that could inform everyone’s reflections and strategies.
We also hope that this blog will provide a wonderful opportunity for the LIA to broaden its circle of contacts and influence to include those who are passionate about the debate of ideas and who see it as an unmissable opportunity to inform practical action at an early stage.
Our initiative is also the result of an objective observation. When it comes to combating speciesism and promoting veganism, philosophy, anthropology and science occupy prominent positions across all publications (journals, books, blogs). Surprisingly, the law is virtually absent from these, save for a few specialist academic journals aimed at students on postgraduate animal studies courses. This is undoubtedly to forget a little too quickly that speciesist ideology stems from a dogmatic choice by legislators. It is in the name of the law that other animals are treated as movable property through a legal fiction and exploited until their death.
Similarly, few publications focus on a purely political dimension or deal with activism and its range of strategic debates. It is to fill this void that La Parole Antispéciste will give prominence to publications highlighting the legal, political and strategic dimensions raised by the emergence of political anti-speciesism in our society.
As such, this new media outlet will resolutely and deliberately adopt an intersectional and political approach. We are working towards the convergence and coherence of social liberation struggles with a clear political objective. Bringing together those driving social change is essential. We are convinced that the structural mechanisms of domination and appropriation are common to many forms of systemic oppression.
This blog aims to analyse and highlight these common systemic mechanisms that unite all forms of oppression, in order to foster an intrinsic coherence within each movement and a shared political solidarity.
This blog also aims to be a space for sharing, accessible to both well-known and unknown authors, who will find here a different kind of space in which to participate and contribute, through their posts, to the critical analysis of speciesist ideology.
Anyone can publish on our blog, provided, of course, that they submit a high-quality, well-sourced, original, passionate and relevant article to our Editorial Committee via the following email address: contact@la-parole-antispeciste.com. The Committee will undoubtedly not approve all proposals, but the idea is that it will support you in your project through its advice and any comments it may have, all in a spirit of mutual goodwill and a commitment to quality. Contributions will be published in their original language (whether in French, Dutch or English).
Finally, this new knowledge-sharing tool aims to help improve the visibility and media and critical credibility of the anti-speciesist movement, with a political objective that has been fully acknowledged from the outset.
We are committed to producing high-quality articles with a twofold aim: to contribute to the abolition of animal exploitation and to establish non-human animals as non-human legal persons endowed with essential, inalienable rights.
